Did you read the small print? It's a sales gimmick.

One winner per household. T Cash/TravelCash cannot be transferred to third parties and cannot be redeemed for cash money. T Cash/TravelCash can be used as a discount on our promotional vacations only! $1625.00 represents the discount value you can receive at time of purchase. Void where prohibited by law!

This is in sole purpose of sale of solicitation of vacation ownership.

They'll try and sell you a time-share. You'll sit thru at least 2 hours worth of hard-sell sales pitch where they make you feel like a totally cheap bastard if you don't sign up for one right away. Experience is a cruel master.

They are bound to get the message then. Im a student, I know how to be cheap lol

I was a student when I fell for it. First, you have to be married and have an income. I was in my last semester, just married, wife had an income, so I thought "Why not?"

10 minutes into the sales pitch I was looking for any excuse to get out of there, but you've signed a contract saying you'll stay for the entire 2 hour presentation.

Lesson learned. LOL

i was hung over as hell one time in cancun a few spring breaks ago (go figure) and the wife and I went on one of these things and I totally was BSing the guy and just scamming a free breakfast and a voucher for a bottle of tequila. I told the guy my job was cleaning up crime scenes and such and I did it on a volunteer basis because I loved my job so much. I had him thinking I had won the lottery a few years ago and never needed to work and just did the crime scene clean up thing for fun. He cut the presentation short and gave us our swag just to get us out of there because I was freaking out the other "customers" with the stories of stuff I had seen at work. I think the thing that sent him over the edge is when I said, "Did you know there is enough blood in the human body to paint a room this size with a couple of coats? Of course the smell and the flies would be a little troublesome, but everyone likes the color red, right?"

heh
