Kids and ER
Well as most of you know the kids stayed with me Thursday night and I kept them Friday while Daddy went to work. They woke up at 6 am. I done more before 12 noon than I usually do in a week. lmao
I got them up, fed them breakfast, washed them, got them dressed. Then we went grocery shopping. Yes I took ALL 3 of them with me in and out of the car to go grocery shopping. We made a pit stop at the house to change diapers and put the groceries up. Then I realized that one of the kids cups had spilled in the diaper bag so I had to get one of my bags to fill up with kids stuff. Off to the park we went.
YAY SIPPY CUPS!
The picture above id Kay Kay at the park and she looks about how I felt. haha She was crying because Isaiah wanted to chase after the kitty instead of going down the slide with her. lol We came home and I fed them lunch, we watched Shrek, and then nap time for ALL OF US!!! By this time my cold was kicking my ass. I felt so crappy and my jaw bone/ear was hurting.
About 3:50 their Daddy called me to tell me he was getting off work, but he had to run and get some stuff done like cashing his check and stuff. So I went and put on some Chicken in the croc pot.
YAY SALMONELLA!!
So while watching the kids I even cleaned up and got supper cooked!! BBQ Chicken, peas, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. Yea I know, a lot of carbs, but Kay Kay said she didn't like Mac & Cheese, so I made potatoes for her and the baby. Which she ended up eating pretty much ONLY mac & cheese.
YAY PICKY TODDLERS!!
My ear was killing me by the time Dee got home. So he cleaned up the living room for me while I called my Mama and cried. Then he decided he was going to take the kids back home so he could see if the kids grandmother would keep them and he would come back to help me out and take care of me.
Around 6:30 I started screaming and crying because of my ear. I drove to Wal Mart crying and sniffling to get some ear drops. The whole time I'm on the phone with my Mom. I put heat on it, I put ice on it, I laid on it as much as I could, and I stayed off of it. I tried everything short of standing on my head while sacrificing a chicken leg to the ear Gods. Around 7 o'clock I told Mama I couldn't take it anymore to please come get me.
Now most of you should know that I don't EVER ask for help. I would rather cut off my left leg for a sacrifice than to ask for help. She loaded up and headed up here with some antibiotic drops in tow. I was still crying and still getting worse. Around 8 my left ear started hurting too.
Mom got here and my whole jaw and neck was swollen to the way that I looked like a chipmunk. She decided to say screw the drops and let's go to the ER. We got to the ER at 9;15 and checked in at 9:38 (They asked me on a scale of 1-10 what my pain was and I told them 15 lol. After my two surgeries I told them 4 and 6.....see how bad I was hurting!!). There was so many people in the ER that it was loud and it hurt so bad to sit up. Finally we asked if I could go somewhere so at 10:30 we moved to another waiting room so that I could kind of lay down and it would be quiet.
I stopped crying for 20 min.
A nurse came to tell us they were getting ready to call me back so we had to go back to the loud waiting room. FINALLY they call us back and the bed hasn't been changed from the little boy before me that had poison oak, the nurse asks me two questions while NOT even looking at me, then walks out. The Doctor comes in and looks at me and tells me that my ear drums look good, but that I probably have an infection in my eustachian tubes that is causing a lot of pressure.
I got 2 Zithromax pills by mouth and a shot of Decadron (to dry me up) and Toradol (pain). The shot wasn't bad............but 3 min later O MY GOD!!! MY ASS WAS ON FIRE! I was trying to walk through the parking lot fanning my hip. Like that would really help.
Mom went to get me some gummi worms and we came to my house. I ate some gummi worms and some Mac & Cheese from supper since I couldn't eat because it hurt to chew, then I passed out. Mama stayed the night with me and I woke up to her washing clothes, cleaning the kitchen, and she had already scrubbed down the bathroom.
YAY MAMA!!
Ok so I know that was long, but at least you know now kind of what was going on with me yesterday. I DID make it taking care of 3 kids for 24 hours doing all of their care EVEN while I had a cold and the start of a double ear infection. I CAN do it. w00t Be proud Jamie. lol
I feel a little bit better today. I'm still congested and draining a little bit. My ears are sore, but no where near what they were. My hip is sore from the shot. A lot of my sinus stuff could be from crying from 6:30 until midnight with only a 20 min break.
YAY FOR WHINING!!

Hope whatever it is that it's worth it.
***Hun, the post was WAY worth it and I'm glad you're feeling a little better. The kids are way cute though getting 3 at once is a major undertaking by yourself. Get what rest you need. We'll see ya back in here when you can make it.
