'Heavy' T's

I'm about to turn back into a jeans and T-Shirt guy...

I usually buy T's from Wally World, but they feel...Light...In comparinsn to my other T's...And I'm wondering if you gusy know what I mean when I say that, and if you are able to find 'heavy' T's where ever you shop at...The T's I have are cool if you want to wear some stuff over the top of it, but I want some T's that are fine by themselves...

Any suggestions..?

Gawd I know what you mean about the "light" and "heavy" Ts. You should check the shit out that we have to choose from in the women's department.......crap. lol

Yeah, I know what you mean. Seems like all you can find anymore is the cheap shit. I've bought shirts that I've worn once tossed in the washer and have them come out all holey. WTF is up with that? I've got some other T's I've had for well over 10 years. Yeah, they're stained a little, but they're still solid as far as the material goes.

If you find some good ones, let me know where you find them.

Go to Gander Mountain. Not sure if there is one close to you but if not, try to find them online.

I've been wearing their T's for the last 4 to 5 years and they stand up great AND have that "heavier" feeling....almost like a "dress" T. Best part about them though is the price. All of them are under 13 bucks....not bad if you ask me.

Most of the ones you'll find at Wally-World are Fruit of the Loom or Hanes and they're generally just undershirts. Hence the lightweight thin t-shirt feel to them.

I've seen some Fruit of the Loom Heavy Duty tees and they are a lot thicker. The best heavy T's i've ever found were the basic Hugo Boss undershirts. They're around $35CAD per tshirt. So they're kinda expensive compared to the ones at Wally-World but they last a damn long time and they're made of great comfortable cotton.

I am a heavy T kind of guy...actually found some pretty decent ones at Costco, you know their Kirkland brand. I just have white, don't know if they have them in other colors or prints. Not too bad, pack of 6 for like $20-$25USD.

Banana Republic used to have great T's, I haven't bought anything but pants from them in years, but I wore the hell out of their T's when I was a teen.

I know what you mean iMNO, I LOVE Banana Republic...The T's I have gotten from there have been awesome...I can lay all my T's down side by side and tell which ones come from BR...

I have some university T's that I've been wearing for 10 years, and I've just noticed that one of them was made by Champion...I'm going to see if I can find some, and hope that they are as light, but sturdy as these...

I only ever wear one type of T and that's a 'Bonds' v neck, 100% cotton. $22 for a pack of three...I don't like the round neck ones...they seem to give me a really bad shape.

Whenever I need a T, I goto Gap, if I just need a basic white.
Otherwise if I'm feeling the need for color, a Haines Beefy-T does nicely. I've had one for about two years, so far so good.
