Re: The Apple iPhone
When it all boils down to it, that's just too much money for a technical device...The technology as I understand it is already improved and available in a cheaper device, and that if something goes wrong w/it, you'd just as soon buy a new one than get it serviced...I've heard plenty of iPod horror stories surrounding the battery to know I'm good w/my PSP...

Honda did that a few yrs back with $1.27 fuel filter -- the catch was the gas tank had to be removed (approx $600+labor) to fix when fuel filter went bad.zaphodz wrote:Apple is pretty dodgy making the battery inaccessible. How long is this thing gonna last before you need to pay apple to replace the battery?
No sour grapes here although I dislike (MS and Gates) I've never had a problem with most of the appz and/ or hardware -- $600 for an iphone (I do have AT&T unfortunately) that my curent hardware/appz do fine -- is just nuts -- not into fads -- my phone and such works fine and I work all over the world
My girls got the macbook pro--they are nice
