Robber Forgets Bag, Leaves Without Money

NEW HUDSON, Mich. — A bank teller apparently flustered a would-be bank robber - and foiled a robbery - after asking where the suspect's bag was to carry off the money, authorities said.

Oakland County Sheriff's Detective Tom Bisio said the suspect entered a Chase Bank branch Monday wearing a hooded sweat shirt, sunglasses and winter gloves. He handed the teller a small piece of cardboard that read, "Give me your money."

"He told a teller to 'hurry up,' but when she asked him if he had a bag to put the money into, it must have flustered him," Bisio told The Detroit News for a story Tuesday. "He ran off without any cash."

Police say the man also is a suspect in a completed bank theft later Monday in Macomb County and three others in Oakland County in recent weeks.

This is really funny though. I guess he must have been a little too anxious to rob a bank to remember what he needed to rob it....lol

I had a friend who robbed a bank. He didn't get caught, but he turned himself in, and did his time to get it over with.

*He robbed a bank *unarmed*, flipped an *investment* of the cash, and all while arranging for the same bills to be included in his return.., got the bank's money back, and went and turned it in to the bank. (He kept the rest, as his payment for going to jail.) He then had his girl flippin money while he was doin time, and letting his investment mature.

We thought he was nuts, but he never worked again. Spent less than two years in the clink, and got out on extended parole for exemplary behavior, and then got on the parole where you don't have to check in. His whole strategy was around being a compliant, pleasant, and genuinely nice person. It worked so well, all he is left with is a mark on his record that keeps him from certain jobs he will never need to work at.

I might see him this weekend in Massachusetts, as a matter of fact, if he can get out from Cali.

He worked an investment with the stolen money and then returned the exact bills that he had stolen while his investment was still in tact? That's a genius plan but I can't believe that the cops didnt' see that investment and make him give that up also

just cause I know he flipped for a return doesn't mean he bragged about it...

I just know last time I saw him he was in a house bigger than his old apartment building, and not really concerned with looking for a job, or even counting his money. it's supposedly all legit now, and he served a good bit back to the myriad of Temples of different religions he respects or follows. He saw this as a "good action", that would pay for itself, and thus could be balanced. He believes God gave him this solution to the material problems that interfered with his religious pursuits.

Warning: I do not condone anyone else do this, or attempt any illegal action. Furthermore, I classify this as a DNAWB* action. No way he would have gotten away with this as a minority, without scars or getting threatened in the pen.

*Do Not Attempt While Black
