I didn't really know where to post this (because this might launch into VU-type psychoanalysis....), but, it can go here for now.
I used to think it was in Canada, but just found out it was actually pretty close to the green arrow in the satellite photo below.
This is from one of the most frightning scenes I've ever seen in my life. Creepy crawlies, heads being ripped off, deaths, I don't give a fuck- two people nervously staring at each other for minutes on end, wearing too much makeup in some bizarre room, makes me extremely frightened and depressed .....

Yea, what the hell is this? I live pretty close to Snoqualmie, but I've never heard of it
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

What the hell is "The Black Lodge"? I've never heard anything about it, maybe being safe down here in FL, but it sounds extremely weird.

Hi Guys
I've seen this, I have the avi files of the complete series, that was shown anyway...it's a David Lynch show which explains the weirdness but, that aside, it was one superb tv show, apart from the X Files, maybe the best ever, IMHO anyway, sadly, it never got to finish. There was also a prequel movie called 'Fire Walk With Me' and talk of a sequel to finish off the story but it never happened and doesn't look like it will now....Great show though.
Best Regards

Re: The Black Lodge
^^ I thought the show did get to finish?
I know it got cancelled, but I thought by then, the main story (Laura Palmer's muder) was solved, so it finished anyway.
I guess if it wasn't cancelled, the show would have went on for many more seasons, exploring & revealing more crazyness in that odd town......

Hi Pete
Sorry I didn't reply to this a bit sooner.....
The show didn't actually get to finish, it ended with Agent Cooper's girlfriend, Annie Blackburn played by Heather Graham, being abducted into the Black Lodge and Cooper going in after her but what came out was an evil version of Cooper who his friends, of course, though just Coop. The final scene was the evil Coop looking into the bathroom mirror, then smashing his face into it and laughing, repeating the phrase 'Where's Annie' over and over..and that was it!! Lynch was susposed to make a film to tie it all up like he did with Fire walk With Me but that never happened, and doesn't look very likely now. Pity as it was a truly excellent show. Oh well, that's that though.
Best Regards
