Welcome to our little piece of Heaven on earth. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.

I am of Scottish decent myself.... trace my family line back far enough, in fact, and we tie in to Robert the Bruce's line. Of course, I am so far removed from that, that I can't even fake a good Scottish accent..... :)

I love Scotland! It's so beautiful there. I think you might actually be our first Scottish resident on the site. Welcome! Take a look around, post away and soon you'll get addicted like the rest of us!
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Don't worry about the accent, it's not essential. Scotland is in your genes. There's nothing worse than someone trying to 'put on' the accent, it sounds so patronising because in most of the cases it is done so badly with 'Och aye, the noo...' etc.
