Post by shellvpower »

Hi guys...
I have a sony xplod cdx-s2200 in my car, it doesn't have any aux input...
but on the rear it have 2 RCA jacks for AUX Output to connect an amplifier...

My question is...
There is any solution to connect my ipod or any mp3 player in the aux output?or I have to buy a new radio with aux input ??ù

thanks in advance

I checked out the specs on your unit http://www.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProduct. ... Tuners#tab

It looks like it has no dedicated input.

You might have to get one of those FM radiotransmitters that plugs into your ipod, then you tune the output station into your car's stereo and listen to your ipod that way.

mmmmm
yeah I thought about that things....but...
Here in Italy there are too many busy radio station, so is very hard to use that trasmitter correctly...
I though....
And if I buy an amplifier? that has an AUX input? So I can connect my sony radio to the amplifier through the aux output and that connect the ipod to the aux input of the amplifier..........
can this work?

Sure you could by an amp and plug your Sony tuner and ipod into it. Might just be cheaper to get a new tuner with front inputs for your ipod tho...
