Metal Gear Solid

Post by Deepak »

I played Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake on play station 1 quite a while ago and got hooked onto it from day 1. It was just one of those games that I really enjoyed playing and i could play it over and over again without being bored. In those days I didnt have a memory card so basically I had to either leave the game on or play the whole game at once in one sitting. I spent quite a few nights doing that lol.

I didnt play the next game in the sequel but I recently got metal gear solid: snake eater. I really enjoyed that game as well. But the problem with that was the camera was a bit messed up and you couldnt control it like most other games. So I sold that and then I got Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty .

Part 3 of it contains the original and the one that I played so I started playing the sons of liberty one and havent stopped playing since. Anyone else heard of this game and has played it??

being that there is pretty much a religion built around Solid Snake and this Konami series,.. I hope someone else has heard of them.

For me, puzzle games, Fable, and Shin Megami Tensei based RPGs are the majority of my gameplay. I played Metal Gear, but always felt it lacked some element of gameplay I like. It is VERY popular though.

I used to have ROMS on my old PC and I got the original MGS for NES. I couldn't beat that so I never bothered trying any MGS games afterwards.

My brother was once a MGS junkie, when I talk to him I'll see if he can help...

What I love about MGS is the story line and the action. It was the first game that I played on PS1 that you could actually crawl in and have hand to hand combat while at the same time having the gun play. The story line just made it all sweeter.

The game has definetly got a message as well. So its always good to play and something that you cant understand in the first go you might understand the second or third time. Its one of those games that you dont actually get bored of playing no matter how many times you play it.
