I think since this is the icecream thread, it must now mean Chocolate Dipped Raspberries....Kumicho wrote:So, so sad we have to have this discussion so often... :(

Re: Favorite Ice Cream Flavor
Pistachio is good, as is Mint Chocolate. Though I admit to eating more soft-serve Neopolitan than either of those. This is in terms of ice cream only.
Favorite Popsicle: Strawberry short cake from GoodHumour.
Favorite Frozen Treat: Italian Ice (not gelato).

Re: Favorite Ice Cream Flavor
While I realize I could potentially loose major cool points for stating this, I feel I must...
Last week or so, I bought a $3 pint of Dove ice cream...Now mind you, that price is the special price...I don't know what the regular price is...But anyway...I got it cause I love ice cream, and figured I may as well see if its worth it...
Good God that shit is good...It has a layer of ganache on the top, and dude, I felt like a bitch eating it...I literally have to make myself put it away cause its so damn good...

Re: Favorite Ice Cream Flavor
My favorite is just about anything homemade. There's nothing like sitting on the back porch on a hot summer's day turning the crank (I'm old school) of an ice cream churn. I've made some killer strawberry ice cream (using fresh berries of course) as well as fresh peach. Mint chocolate chip is another favorite, but I'm hard pressed to turn anything away when it's hot outside.
Love it love it LOVE IT!
