So I've been looking around for a new laptop for a bit. I was eyeing off the new macbook pros that had come out.
Since I need to be fairly mobile these days, I wanted a small and light laptop. The macbook pro didn't really fit the bill and the macbooks have crappy integrated graphics.
I settled on the Dell XPS M1330. Got a great deal on it with 10% off due to Dell's happy hour deals.
Got the penryn 2.6 GHz chip with 4Gig ram, 320GB HDD. Reformatted it and installed XP and Ubuntu. It is an awesome laptop in all respects so far. Even has HDMI out to watch stuff on the big screen :)
Just putting this out there for anyone looking at laptops and wants a recommendation. Anyway, highly recommended.
New Dell XPS M1330 :)

I wished you had talked to me - I might have been able to get you a bit more in the way of a discount....
... but that holds for any US residents of this forum interested in getting a DELL over the web (as opposed to picking one up at walmart or bestbuy)....
... and the key word here is that I might, not that I will or can in all instances... Unlike UBER, there are limits to my powers...

Some photos and a review here:

I got the 6 cell battery and it sits flush with the back of the laptop, not like the 9 cell one in the above review.
Thanks for the heads up but I'm happily not a US resident :)
I know what you say about "Dude you got a Dell" but it's now the second Dell laptop I've bought (gave my sister the other one) and I can say both purchases have been great value with no problems.
