Re: Grand Theft Auto IV Thread
In the future, I won't remember this day as the day I graduated from college but as the day I got Grand Theft Auto IV and spent the rest of the week on the couch. lol
btw, anyone have any problems with their game freezing up? Happened to me a few times already and apparently it's a widespread problem for both versions.

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV Thread
I heard the 60 gig and the second release 360 are the ones having the problems,.. and the PS3 servers were still down this evening. But that is Rockstar's issue, because they basically have to support their own online for the Playstation network if they want it to come close to xbox live.
(not being a fanboy, just saying in general Microsoft has to give us a good network because we pay for it, and they handle the network for the game studios. On the PSN, if you want a full featured online, like Resistance, you gotta support it yourself, like Imsomniac chose to. Imsom has LOTs of network experience Rockstar, not so much. Hope the PS3 online gets sorted out and Rockstar updates the stalling systems, and hope no one is locked out of the game they rightfully paid for.)

Yeah it freezes. Multiplayer was up today and that was great. Although, the load time after you die can be annoying and the multiplayer's interface was pretty annoying as well. It would have been better with a separate screen that allows you to search for a game, rather than quitting, bringing the cell phone up again, and searching all the way, PLUS the loading screen.

Bought my GTA in reserve weeks ago...
Got the the damn store today, and they try to sell me the non-deluxe version... :(
I wanted to go ahead and get it, but fuck that, I want the Deluxe version..! So, I'm holding out, maybe they'll have my shit in by Friday...

for me, I couldn't validate the Deluxe edition. I generally don't but collector's editions unless they have a good prize. A duffle bag and lock box don't impact gameplay to me. The perks just weren't comparable to the regular game and the Brady guide, which would improve the quality of gameplay experience I have. No way I would find everything in the guide, but I ain't using it like a check list either.
I played about 4 hours today. with my brother. just marvelous...

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV Thread
to be honest, I can't play just these games, for example:
Tuesday/Wednesday, after working a 26 hour day (not the usual, and well compensated for my efforts), I went home played GTA IV with my brother, napped, woke up, played Persona 3 (one of my favoirte games in a while - Get on this Deep RP if you can play PS2 games), and then restarted FF7 and played the first hour.
I spent no more than 4 hours playing video games, hung out with my girl, did some me stuff, some music stuff, and got to bed after my ff7 hour. But playing Cops N Robbers with my brother online is why I got GTA IV... and in that the 360 version I have does not disappoint.
