Your World View In 5 Statments

A school of music that studies the rhythm of nature, a school of fashion that studies the elegance of the Universe, a school of design that studies the architecture of the ancients, a school of philosophy that studies the time-tested Truth.

Your World View In 5 Statments

Post by AYHJA »

If you could share with someone 5 thoughts or sentences, that convey your very core, the aspects of life, being human, or whatever you feel are essential to the things you deem important in this world, what would they be..? For example...If you were trying to explain to a strange inter-galactic traveler who was familiar with societies in general but not with earth...What would you tell him..? For me, at this point in time, I think I would tell him these things, in no particular oder:

1. If it can happen, it will happen...

2. The only constant is change...

3. Do onto others as you would have them do onto you...

4. Never stop learning; seek to learn something new today you didn't know yesterday...

5. Your focus determines your reality.... (Most things are merely points of view)

Yours..?

I would like to add....

1. Life is like a chess game, you need to let your next move be your best move...

2. Sometimes the best move is no move at all...

3. Reach for sky, and land amongst the stars...

4. Either you are first or you are last.... No Middles

5. Success is only a state of mind...
No matter how smart a man gets, he will never understand a woman...

0. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

1. All is pure and perfect, and has always been so: To this realization I commit myself, a being a pure and total perfection.

2. This, too, shall pass.

3. The force or essence we humans call "attention" needs to be understood as the greatest commodity in the market of Possibility.

4. God is a nut.

5. Tao ko Tao, Tao fei Tao: Ming ko Ming; Ming fei Ming.

1) Pain is growth.

2) The true try and fail captures the essence of life best.

3) We are morally obligated to choose to be moral.

4) Daoist philosophy is true in the most wonderful of places.

5). No matter how much you know, you will never know anything about women.

That's all I got for now :D

1. There is a God and I'm not Him
2. Everyone is created in God's image
3. Always seek The Truth
4. No man is an island...
5. This life is not all there is
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard
