Is there a "Hard Luck" team award?

I've already got 2 starting guys on IR, my #1 RB is banged up and questionable, and my #1 WR has a busted thumb and is out half the season.... and we're only heading into week 2...

btw, are we thinking of running this league as a "keeper" league for next season? I'd like to know so I can decide on getting screwed this year in hopes of keeping Brady for next year.... it's so sad I'm thinking of next year already.... :disappoint:

LOL!!! Yeah I know I'm already thinking of next year in every facet of football...fantasy, reality..it's been a rough season all around and week 2 ain't her yet. Well thank Jesus I'm not a Raiders fan at least...tee hee...I don't know about the keepers league thing maybe we should put it to a vote. I was hoping we could recruit maybe 4 or 6 more guys for next year but up to you guys. It does seem like a bummer not to get some compensation for losing Brady.

Dude, Brady getting hurt truly derailed my passion for pro ball...I live to see the Master on the field directing traffic...

My team got dealt with, but I'm hoping to rebound this week...Whomever is up, grab the Vasse, here I come...

This is a keeper league, so don't lose all hope
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard

While I do realize this is done in competitive spirit, this is my first 'immersed' fantasy football...I've played it before, but its never had this many people in it before, so I'm more into it this time...

Does anyone have any friendly rivalry tips they want to share..?

Holy shit, I can PM ruff, this is his thing..!

Well this is only my second year playing but I find that when teams play me they are better off resting their top running back and even in some cases throwing in their back up QB. It seems those are the weeks the back up guys have phenomenal days. You guys should try it. Man I feel like I'm really handicapping myself here and telling tales outa school. Ah well I really just want you guys to have all the best advantages. Really...try it!

This is me exactly (in another league)... so I feel for you. :disappoint:

Granted, I'm not doing so hot in this one either, but that is more to do with my experience, as well as my opponent's great starters.

Beginning this week, I will now have accumulated about eight weeks worth of Fantasy experience, but it is very immersive nonetheless. I hope to win this league by sheer determination and calculation regardless so I can prove in my second-ever attempt that I am no longer a greenhorn novice anymore.

Reading stats, compariing matchups, sorting out options; it is much fun, but I do find myself shouting at times because of my luck. I'm not quite sure what a "keeper" league is, though I am guessing it remembers the picks of this season for the next?

Man, I'm sorry I can't talk trash as much as I would like to, so I'll just leave this message here, adjust my roster to find a QB here, and pick up three wide receivers there(can you believe it, my first time playing two leagues at once, and one of teams has seven quality WRs, and the other, not even one viable starter.)
