Miami has already shown themselves to be much better than the pushovers they were last year. And other than Steve Slaton, the Texans have not been very good. And that's from a team expected to be no better than 8-8.

Now I'm really drinking that Arizona Kool-Aid (or would that be Ice Tea?) this week. Dallas' secondary is banged up, and was a question mark to begin with. Warner is looking like his old Rams' days, throwing to anyone on the field, racking up TD's and yards by the loads.

I thin Baltimore will beat the Colts, and in a shocker, the Rams squeak by the 'Skins to stop being a doormat... for at least one week.
Well, in my pick 'em league, I was the only one to pick Atlanta, Arizona, and Houston correctly. Though, I did get trounced on my Baltimore pick. I don't care if Baltimore's defense is the best in the universe; I will from this point forward continue to bet against them until they can find stability on the offense, and that begins by benching that Joe Flacco.

Oh, and if the 'Skins had to lose to the Rams, I'm glad, so too, that the Boys and G-Men fall as well in the end. :cross:

Thoughts on the past week

The (hidden) link between Tom Brady and Tony Romo

Oh, my goodness! I had no idea Jeff Garcia was married to Carmella DeCesare! :o

That's, like, my one of favorite PMOY and the QB of one of my four favorite teams! Oh, and 'Checkdown', (former Bucs QB & Suberbowl Champeen) is back in the mix, while Romo is out!

Oh, and the NFC East may be the best division in football (although all three of the winning teams fell last week, those trap games will kill you), but the NFC South (and to an extent, so too, is the AFC South) is by far the most competitive.

Oh, man.

Not really sure who has the better job. Brady, or Larry Brown the basketball coach.

Brady: Starting QB on contender, endorsements, hot girlfriend, now sitting at home all day with said girlfriend...

Brown: Coach of young team making noise, getting paid 6-10 million from 4 teams each this year but only coaching one.

I guess it's still Brady since everything's better w/ a hottie around...

OK, I know nobody wants to talk about this...

But can someone PLEASE take all Pacman's money...All his pull...And kick him the fuck out of the league..? How ridiculous of a human being can you be..?

Meanwhile, I know Romo's hurt, but with Roy coming to the Boys, I kinda get the feeling he may not get his starting job back right away...

Who? Romo? Romo's getting his job back just as soon as he can throw a ball again. That offense is dynamic and one of the best with a healthy Romo, at least in the regular season, while it's just better than average with Johnson.

Nolan needed to go. He wasn't doing anything positive to help that team
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard
