2008-09 NBA General Discussion Thread
Finally..!
Basketball season has started and I couldn't feel better...Basketball highlights are the best... :D
The Lakers look so dominant right now its a shame...Their whole bench played and scored tonight...Granted, it was against the Clips, but they beat Portland down the exact same way the night before...
Unfortunately, the Celts don't look like they'll be loosing many games this year either, and you always are sitting on pins and needles with injuries always looming...
But having games on Tuesday and Wednesday gives me something to do while waiting for my Thursday and Friday shows to come on... :D

Man, I thought my Blazers would have a great start to the year, until I saw Oden come down on that ankle. Damn....4 more weeks without him

Yeah I think it was the luckiest thing to happen to the Celts in looooooong while that they missed out on the #1 pick to get Oden. Too bad.

Seriously. I was at that game and the Rose Garden was just going crazy! I'm glad I got his autograph on his game-worn jersey his rookie year.....I'm holding on to that for a long time

Damn man, I envy you...As of now, he still seems very humble...But man o man, is it obvious that he has worked on shooting his whole life or what..! I'm no Blazers fan, but if he's on, I'm watching...
Still, I'm a Lakers fan, and I must say that the Laker's don't look as good as their record suggests when I watch them...The C's on the other hand, are playing like they want to win every game...I'm hoping that the Laker's will be peaking late in the season, they are going to the Playoffs regardless, and after 19-1, the Boston fans best watch themselves before declaring themselves king...
Dwayne Wade is kicking much ass as well...

Oh we already declared King of the NBA...we're going for King of the world now. We do fear Cleveland somewhat but the Lakers are still too soft. Too many Euros man! ;)Kumicho wrote:Damn man, I envy you...As of now, he still seems very humble...But man o man, is it obvious that he has worked on shooting his whole life or what..! I'm excited for the Celtics/Lakers game tomorrow. The 2 best teams going at it each with so much motivation: the Lakers wanting revenge from the Finals and the Celtics wanting to extend their incredible winning streak. Can't wait to sit down with a beer to watch this one
