What's happiness?

A school of music that studies the rhythm of nature, a school of fashion that studies the elegance of the Universe, a school of design that studies the architecture of the ancients, a school of philosophy that studies the time-tested Truth.

I know exactly where you're coming from and don't get me wrong, I don't mean that we shouldn't try to better ourselves and strive for other goals, I just mean that we should look at the good things we have and be thankful for that at this time. Ambition is a good thing providing it's kept under control. It has a way of consuming everything and I know people who will do anything to get ahead and I mean anything including, I suspect, kill someone who might get in their way. I just don't think that sort of emotion could have anything to do with happiness as it's bound to lead to frustration because things don't happen fast enough for them and that in turn leads to anger at who or what is holding them back and I believe that way lies madness.
I know that sounds a bit (well...., more than a bit... :) ) melodramatic when it's put like that but there you go......
This is the final truth: The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe (')

^Shit half of those I know or are aquainted with who let their ambition steer their lives are some of the unhappiest people I've met. Especially those who are ambitious in the business sector. Most of their boardroom bloodlust is just a damn beard for covering up truckloads of insecurity and self-worth issues. therin lies their weakness if any of their competitors ever found out about said issues. A hanful of well-placed words could bring them crashing down. Hard.

Anything unbalanced and out of proportion is unhealthy...Every yin must have a yang...Usually, when you live your life in balance, there aren't many things to hold you back...Me, for example...When I used to smoke, it made me happy...Smoking, for all intents and purposes in unhealthy...So, I told myself that if I'm going to smoke, I'm going to be active...Playing sports, working out, boxing...I have been fortunate enough, even in my puffing days, to never have any major health issues...No problems getting life insurance over here, haha...

You just have to be smart enough to be real with the person that counts...

Happiness for me is being a butterfly...

When I first posted this topic, I was still a fox....it didn't suit me though... at that time I didn't realize...but finally I had the strength to call it quits...

Now the little caterpillar that was inside of me did manage to become a butterfly...I overcame many problems...now I can say that I have never been more proud of myself before....

"You may tread on me like dirt, but like dust I will rise....and like a butterfly I will soar..." that's my motto now...
