Does any of you have a key that they can lend me, and or a successful work around..? I'm fixing a laptop for my aunt that came pre-installed with VHP, and the key will not allow you to authenticate windows...Downgrading back to XP is more trouble than its worth, and I haven't found a reliable slipstream for a Vista version as of yet...

Nope..! As I said, its not for me, I'm running W7 RC1..! Only savvy people need bother with Linux, and if they were savvy I wouldn't have been removing trojans in the first place, lol...

Not sure sorry. I recall when Vista came out there was one crack in particular that would activate any version but I think they killed that off with the service packs. Since I lost all interest in Vista I haven't looked in to it's activation requirements.

Install Win 7 RC1 maybe? It'll last till next year. Or XP? Edit soz I see you mentioned about XP.
