how do u guys handle video streaming? what software do u recommend to record the vids ?

Depends on the stream usually, but if there's a stream I want bad enough to record it, i used a program called HiDownload...

I haven't used it in some time, but it got the job done when I needed it...If that doesn't work, you may have to go the archaic screen recorder route...

I don't know about dl'ing streams, but there is a FF plugin for things like youtube videos and stuff like that...
