Re: Ironman 2
Rourke did a helluva job in The Wrestler.
While I did not enjoy the first movie as much as most people, which I attribute to the fact that I saw it way after everyone and was told numerous times how amazing it was making my expectations too high, I'm pretty geeked for this one to come out.

This new one looks fantastic. Ya know though...I kinda think Scarlet is a two face. Some times she looks great and other times she looks a little hefty and a bit homely. But she does look good in this movie from the stills above.

Considering how I figured Terrence Howard would have portrayed War Machine, I'm especially looking forward to seeing how Don Cheadle plays the character. I reckon he'll do so superbly.

Yeah I just can't wait to see War Machine. Whiplash is a little hokey but War Machine could have his own franchise.Dietrich wrote:Considering how I figured Terrence Howard would have portrayed War Machine, I'm especially looking forward to seeing how Don Cheadle plays the character. Check out this link of the guys @ IGN via way of TMB pausing & breaking down the trailer. They point out some valid money shots that are blink-and-you'll-miss-it: http://themovieblog.com/2009/12/breakin ... -2-trailer

One of the worst movies I've seen in a long, long ass time...Rourke is without a doubt one of the ugliest dudes I've ever seen...I can't believe you said that, lol...Drew wrote:Rourke did a helluva job in The Wrestler.

Ugly doesn't have a thing to do with acting chops.

Whoa, this may have to be made into a new topic....how could you have not liked The Wrestler?!?!
And, although I don't know any of the back story or comics associated with Iron Man and these characters....it feels kind of grimy that T-Howard didn't get the role. Maybe I don't know about the reason why Cheadle got it instead, but it doesn't seem fair or right. That being said, Cheadle is a great actor so he'll probably pull it off....but first thing i thought of was why T-Howard got replaced.
