See, I like just picked the best stuff that was available in the options...I don't have any clue whats good or not lol.

But that may be my biggest problem (aside from just having Vista)

I mean my computer itself runs decent...but considering I just had it all cleaned out, I was wondering why it plays games like shit sometimes...and that may be all it is, I don't have a good enough card or enough ram.

Is there any way to upgrade that/improve it without ripping it apart and putting in a new one (skills I obviously don't have myself...and don't really trust big corporations to do for me)?

It's not Windows Vista. I gamed for 2 years without a problem in Windows Vista before I switched to Windows 7. Performance is no different to me.

You most likely cannot upgrade the CPU unless your laptop has a BIOS update supporting faster CPUs. To upgrade to a 2.2GHz of the same Merom core will be a waste of your money.

You cannot upgrade the video card at all.

You can most likely upgrade the RAM to 4GB. RAM is pretty cheap these days too.

Really, if you want to game then I would invest in a desktop. Even a $100 video card will get you higher framerates then that laptop could provide.
