Software for editing GIFs

#1

Post by Dietrich »

I found a few Janine Habeck GIFs (including one featuring her jubblies as she peels off her shirt in the shower ^_^), and that reminded me that I no longer had any software with which to edit GIFs (resize, delete frames, etc.) since uninstalling Adobe ImageReady back when I upgraded to Photoshop CS3.

Can anyone recommend some software for editing GIFs and such? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. =)

I used to use something made by ulead a while ago, I remember it working pretty well for me...I could be mistaken, but I think Irfanview may make .gif files as well...

It seems to me that you used to be able to open them directly into flash and it would give you each frame. Then you could modify the image in any frame using any image editing software (photoshop, fireworks, paint, etc)

I haven't messed around with flash for a while... so i can neither confirm nor deny if this will work now....
