Scorsese...DiCaprio...Classic right..?
You know, before I get too down hard on this, let me just say that had this been done with other actors, and another director, I probably would have been more impressed...This was an all star cast by many accounts, and it just didn't feel like it...Wow...I was so incredibly bored...I mean, I figured the movie out unintentionally early on, and there was nothing new about it at all IMO...
I was pretty damn disappointed...I suppose...I hope that there are some of you out there that have seen it and can point out some of the finer aspects of the film, but so far...I could have had a V8...

Re: Shutter Island
Thanks for the synopsis Ja. I'll wait for the dvd. Just when I thought Martin was on a roll after Aviator & The Departed. I think the last Scorsese film I truly dug on outside of the 2 mentioned above was 2000's Bringing Out The Dead.

Re: Shutter Island
Man, I definitely could have saved my fucking 21.50 on dinner and a rental instead of the tickets...Could have also been that I was with TY2, and distracted anyway, but nevertheless, if you're a hardcore movie buff, you might want to skip this...Worth a rental, certainly not worth the extra pony to see it on the big screen...I had more fun watching Percy Jackson, certainly to have more fun watching Iron Man and Clash....
