What can I say... I sort of lost interest when Hot Rod Hundley could no longer utter the phrase "Stockton to Malone..."

LeBron is just big...That's it...He can hoop, but doesn't have the skill set Melo has...

Re: Who will win the 2010 NBA Championship
He's just freakishly athletic. Any statements about his actual basketball ability (say, if you took away the fact he's the most physically gifted figure to ever play) can be rendered false if you just look at the dude's post game.
Oh wait...you can't find out anything about his post game? I didn't think so....that shit is just non-existent. I watched him for almost an entire quarter the other night be checked (relatively well I might add) by Baron Davis. You can't be considered the best player in the game if you let Baron Davis stick you for a quarter. If you aren't taking his little ass to the post every play until they switch defenders, then you're not well-equipped enough offensively to be considered great in that regard.
LeBron wants to barrel down the lane and get bailed out by the refs (although his ability to finish is actually improving) or just sit back and shoot long threes. Anyone who is that athletic can do both of those things on a basketball court. Considering his gifts, he's not as good as he should be defensively...there's no reason he shouldn't lock down everyone he plays against. Oh and by the way....fast break blocks and help side rejections do not, in any way, mean that you're a lockdown defender. It isn't even a testament to his defensive awareness, because he can cover so much ground in so short a time, it's just a testament to his athleticism.
But back to the actual question............I'm still waiting on a response as to why the Lakers won't win this year.
