Lots of things to consider when you consider drops, dudes...Like going over the middle and getting cracked for one...Moss won't go over the middle for shit, never has, thus its much easier to catch deep balls and not have to worry about drops...Brandon Marshall leads the league in drops these days, or he did last year, but that's the same dude that set an NFL record for catches in a game...You're not going to make every catch, and if you're getting thrown to 8 times a game, and you catch 6 of them and drop 2, I'll take that ratio...
The dropped balls stat is hardly well known, but Moss drops too kids...

Here's another page for this year...
T.O. leads the league in drops w/8
Moss is right behind him with w/6...
Thing is, T.O. has been targeted 108 times, caught 59 of those balls...
I don't have to look up the numbers to tell you that there's no way in the hell Moss has had the ball thrown his way that many times this year, and that for sure he hasn't caught as many balls as T.O., who is 3rd in the league in receptions this year...

Here's a list of receivers this year, wake me up when you get to Randy Moss' name...

You can't tell me that if T.O. had Tom Brady chunking the rock instead of God knows who in Buffalo last year, anything would have been different...
