Transformers 3

IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1399103/ (7.3 :star: out of 10)

Well...

I did say before that I'm very interested on making this my first iMax 3D experience...And since a lot of the movie is set in my new adopted home city, I think I should...I've read that its more of the same of the other two, which, if you don't take seriously, are pretty cool and a dream come true for 80's kids like myself...Overall, the reviews seem to suggest that it is much better than Revenge of the Fallen...

Bonus, Megan Fox is gone...I'm not a hater, but she's just not that hot to me...I don't know about the girl that replaced her, also not thrilled...Mainly though, I just want to see robots, and I think this joint will deliver...

At the very least, I will take Ra to see this instead of Cars 2, and it will be a decent warm up to Harry Potter...

I don't think this will have many fans here, but in the name of all things pop culture, may as well have a thread...

I agree. I watched the first two for transforming robots and Megan Fox. I really didn't care about anything else.

Well, that's how the media helps push relationships and marriage. Gotta reinforce it in everything. They should make Shia's character the ultimate player...make James Bond look like a bitch or something.

I mean..!!!

If there's ever a story that doesn't need a love element, its transformers...It adds nothing...Sam is already pushing to be relevant, but more than that, I think he has a good enough reason to not want to see the fucking world as he knows it come to an end...We just didn't need the relationship...They would have done better just parading hotties all around instead of sticking the camera in that girls face every 6.28 minutes...

From the first movie it should have been
Giant Fucking Robots Beating The Shit Out Of Each Other.
Any humans should have been incidental & faceless at best.

Okay, just like the previous 2 it was pretty good in terms of robot fighting and action. I really can't say that any of the Transformer movies have ever bored me. They have all been entertaining.

The whole love thing wasn't really until the end. I agree that they didn't have to put it in there. But Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (below) sure is nice to look at the whole time. As long as they keep lots of robot action and hot babes like Megan Fox or Rosie Huntington-Whiteley then I will keep watching it.

Your comments seem of someone who is old and there should be a grand pa gif after your post in this thread. No offense.
While for transformer fans they may not need the relationship. But those scenes weren't for you. I never get why people on the net still get bothered by this in movies. If your a fan of transformer from the old days this should not bother you. They weren't directing it at you. They already got you. And They can depend on you buying robots for your kids to pass along the next generation.

The relationship in the movie is for The Dude Bros who are not hard core fans. The eye candy is for the dudebros.
The relationship stuff is also for the guy who goes to movie with his girl and show her that hes not a total meat head who not just violence and explosions. If I would have went to see that movie with my girl I would had at the end of the movie told her that I would do all the stuff and more for her. Just to be super cheesy.

The Love element grounds it for the general audience. To give those people who can't name any of the transformers outside of bumblebee something.

Lets be honest. Transformers is not a serious movie franchise. This is not Romeo and Juliet. Or Titanic. Or The Matrix.
This movie series is about taking Eye Candy to the ultimate level for the male audience without being Porn.

We men have movies like Transformers and The Expendables and every movie jason statham has made in the last ten years. And Women have Twilight and that Vampire series on the CW and maybe True Blood.

I really don't see it as something you need to get your dander up over.
