Man, I just can't care about Spiderman at all...Kids love him, shit, when I was a kid I loved him...But I just have a bit of a disdain for fragile superheroes...I mean, I was happy to see the organic webbing, just one less thing to go wrong in the middle of a fight...Oh no, I'm out of webbing..! **puke** And didn't his dad create those..?

I don't know, I guess there's a place for him, and I'll probably end up seeing this by default cause of Ra, but such a big fat meh on this...But, kudos on having Emma Stone, she's a cutie...And glad to see Sally Field as a not so ancient Aunt Mae...

His dad? Oh Ube you hurt me to the core. Spidey never had a dad. Just his Uncle Ben who's death was the point of his becming a superhero. And he created his webshooters himself which may be a little silly but everytime Toby shot a (ahem...organic) web all I could think of was he probably just wanted to have a smoke and take a nap.

I like the cast they've put together but that costume looks like Spidey's coming out announcement. He's here and he's FIERCCCCCCE!

Ube I apologize to ya. It looks like they're going to include Spidey's parents in this afterall. They were hardly mentioned in the books with him being raised by his Unc and Aunt but you knew better than me. Anyway this looks great so far besides the costume anyway...

Spoiler:
I like how they kind of are tying in the Spider that bit him as somehow connected to Curt Connor's limb regeneration project (ie the Lizard). Very cool.

I dig the pic of him stuck to the subway car ceiling. I'm still suspicious of the film though due to the 3D bullshit. I have yet to see a 3D movie of this genre amaze me. I also don't dig how they seem to be tying his origin to a villain's like the Ultimate Comics version.

Yeah but at least it isn't the Sandman that killed Uncle Ben this time. It'll probably suck but I'm holding out hope with Marvel not involved maybe it'll be alright.
