Brush Up here: http://www.google.com/+/demo/

And here: http://www.crunchbase.com/product/google

When asked what he thought about it:
Mark Zuckerberg wrote:Facebook’s job is to just keep innovating
I just don't know what Google is trying to do here, I've only recently began toying with the +1 idea in Google, which seems like a pretty good idea, but I don't know what is the desire to create similar things is...What ever happened to innovation..? Supposedly all of our nerds leave and work for them, where's the cutting edge, next huge thing that can tie all of the google search users into a global community..? Shit, I almost feel like I could brainstorm it up on my own...

More of Google's attempt to rule world communication. No thanks. I'm already leery of using Facebook.

All my friends are on Facebook so there's no reason to switch. Facebook excelled where MySpace failed. Google+ is just trying to copy Facebook but it's already too late.

I don't know about it being a clone, j...I've only had it a couple of days but it already feels different than FB...For google search users, this might be a bit of a FB killer...I can see tech oriented people all over it, muggles will likely stay with FB...But then again, who would have ever thought that myspace would be an afterthought, it was all the rage at one point...Google is th #1 website in the world, that has to count for something, and they are constantly doing and trying things...Something is bound to stick sooner or later...

And another intersting bit:

Facebook Product Director Blake Ross kicked off Google+

Blake Ross, Facebook's product director, says he's been booted from Google+ for using his own name.

And Ross, who is also one of three co-founders of Mozilla's Firefox Web browser, isn't the only one who has found himself on the losing end of Google+'s name game.

For the last couple of weeks, Google+ users have been complaining about banishment from Google+ and all of their Google services (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar) after the tech giant deemed their account to be in violation of its "Community Standards."

Many have been using fake names, which Google doesn't allow, while others, such as William Shatner, were using their real names.

Being kicked out of Google+ and all other things Google online, so far, comes without a warning, as was the case with Ross.

Thursday, on Twitter, Ross said he tried to log in to Google+ and found a message from Google (which he took a screenshot of) that said, "after reviewing your profile, we determined that the name you provided violates our Community Standards. If you believe that your profile has been suspended in error, please provide us with additional information...and we will review your profile again."

I really don't even like Facebook to be honest. If it weren't for the fact I could reconnect with old friends then I wouldn't even bother with it. I really don't need to be that connected to other people.
