Re: Captain America
Saw a bootleg this weekend, and I do agree with your sig Jig, cdr...Hilarious...
Anyway, I did think that it was better than Thor, and I never saw Green Lantern...No Stan Lee cameo, or did I miss it...Anywho, I think they left the door open for Cap to flex a little more...I feel like he was just getting started with some of what makes him cool...Didn't realize Hugo was in the movie, I'm a fan...

Re: Captain America
That's right, Stan was a general in the lab. I don't think I'm that harsh on it. I just saw so many moments which were a waste of time & money (considering Feige is known as a notoriously cheap prick) that could have been better spent improving the story (especially post-serum) instead of the mediocre razzle dazzle that was given to us. Even the Red Skull was given the shaft. The mask was great, but everything else about him was a farce. He was given the exact same treatment Doc Doom was by Avi Arad in the FF movies. I... fuck it, I am not going to rant. I am not going to rant. I am not going to rant.

Re: Captain America
HAHAHA...Wasn't the Skull a fairly nice guy compared to the comics though? I mean he seemed thoughtful to others' feelings. I mean I could picture having a beer with the guy. Ok I won't go any further cause I know you don't want to rant. :D

Re: Captain America
What makes the real Skull & Doom scary is that they were just ordinary non-powered megalomaniacs under the masks.

I wanted to like it too. Even moreso than Thor (Which I realistically felt was a harder mythos to pull off). Cap's origin was the most straightforward of origins to tell & they still botched it. Stevie Wonder could have made the movie about Stevie Rogers better than what we were given,& he blind.
