Fantasy Football 2012 [AF Elite]

With a new season, comes new opportunities, and renewed rivalries.

The league has been re-activated.
I've already forgotten how easy it is (not) to add new teams.
There is a due congratulations to last season's champions, Team Jackwagon.
I have not really checked what date the draft is set.
My suggestion is that if we fill the league with 8-10 in the next few days, how about we do an offline draft,
right here in the thread? It would work in a snake format, with the team that is on the clock having to pick their within 24-hours, or have their player autodrafted, according to ESPN's default rankings.
What are you guys thinking?

The only thing that I'm thinking man is that I just want to have some luck and win some damn games this year..! I have never did a live draft, but with my having a mobile phone this year that can help me out, I won't miss another one I don't think...Any day that we pick is good with me, as long as its on a weekend I think...

I actually found this article yesterday. Check it out if you'd like to learn more.
http://www.practicalistuff.com/2011/08/ ... phone.html
it was so just in case I needed it, too, I could have the option to draft from my mobile as well.

The sad thing each and every season for me, though, in this league, is that I only manage to recruit one new guy, yet come the next season, we end up losing two teams. We are declining.

Eager to hear about this plan of yours, [A].
Just remember, since I've been co-commissioneering this league venture since about 2009 or so, the only way to add new teams to the league was to have their e-mail address beforehand, and then the commish assigns them to an existing team, or creates a new one for them (we have not yet run into this 'good' problem).
So, just in case you are short on the specifics, either private message trashtalkr, or myself, with the person of interest you may want to invite, and you MUST include his/her e-mail addy, to have them recieve their ESPN invite via the e-mail.
I, myself, have jsut been getting it into my head that the only way to recruit new members is to approach total strangers and ask them if they care to join. (they may not always be there, but for at one moment, they are real owners of a team).
It is getting sad. (but on the bright side - if we can convince, say 3 others to join in this season, then we may also be able to coax DL1 to resume his duties as "the mouth" of the league.)

Before we move any further, can we receive a roll call for who is in?
(perhaps I should send a league-wide e-mail notice?)

Def. send out the email, I'm going to text my cousin and at least 3 of his roomates to join our league...We can use Twitter to keep them abreast if they are not forum members...You and I will need to coordinate that IO, so I can tweet on your behalf news surrounding the league...

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 [AF Elite]
I believe you are my only follow on Twitter.
(I don't use it, but I now have just in case I need it, for something like registering for Turntable.fm, Pinterest)
Before I get out today, I'll see to it the e-mail is sent.
Perhaps we can also make this a forum announcement once we get to less than a month out from kickoff?
(It might not help much, because I think any and all embers that are interested in FF would have already inquired about joining, but having it displayed prominently can't hurt us, either, I'd reckon.)
