Aight, raum says the Bible proves that Jesus is the re-incarnation Joshua from the Old Testament... I have never heard this...
So, how does the Bible show this?
Joshua = Jesus?

Just so that you know, RAUM is inbetween internet connections, so he'll roll up on this thread ASAP...
I think, however, that it has something to do with the proposed lineage of Jesus...You probably know the story better than I do...
I also think it is EXTREMELY important to remember the history of the bible itself, and keep it all in perspective when looking for answers to questions like these...Next I talk to RAUM, I'll ask for some clarification, and see if we can get some light shed on this subject...

I just read adiriel's thread about the Pentagram and I was floored...! Is he a history scholar or something?
I mentioned that because he mentioned something about Joshua, and Jesus.
To me Jesus Christ is "God's son", but is God in the form of a human being. Because He was not in his normal state as a spirit, He was a derivative of himself, therefore a son. Human beings are derived from their parents, and because God is male, Jesus Christ was His "son".

no b/c Jesus was a man. says so in the Bible. so He would be God's Son still
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

I am my father.
both were born in mangers (reference to the constellation of Cancer), in a time when all of the male hebrew children were being killed. Both have birth legends involving the North Star. Joshua was born in Ai Elu Cha'dam, Jesus was born in Beth-Lehem. Both have links to the mysteries of the "House of God." Both were carpenters. Joshua's wife was killed by a Hebrew raiding party, and he sough revenge. He took vengenece into his own hand, and killed a man who told Joshua he was named "Nun", and planned to take his wife as his own. As he exposed the womans breast, she began to lactate. Joshua understood that this was his Mother, and he had slain his own father. He goes to Moses, and says he is a Hebrew, moses charges his to prove his loyalty by defeating his adoptive home of Ai, which Joshua does.
It is Joshua who become the second only to Moses, and when Moses can not deliver his people, it falls upon Joshua, renews the covenant of the Hebrews, and incites the /Hebrew armies to victory.
So, Jesus and Joshua are the deliveres of the people. Isiah says that Joshua will come back, and in the form of a suffering servant, and will die for the crime of killing his father, and deliver the people once more.
All the prophets who appewared unto Jesus perfomed miracles in Joshua's name. Both redsuced kingdoms of 72 followers to 12. both claimed to be hebrew, but of no one tribe. both were told by God they are a "branch" (a word meaning son, and a prince to a king) both were the fulfillment of the life of daniel, one before him, ad one after,.. both who destroyed the enemies of Israel.
the list goes on,.. and i was trying to write this down, but computer problems and holiday seasons make it difficult to get on here.
vertical,
