I am suprised this thread hasn't been made.. Thishas to be one of the most controversial topic for awhile

Are you for or against abortion?

I am for abortion for the several reasons.

Reasons Why I am Pro Choice

1. If a girl gets raped, she can have an abortion.

2. Birth Control, Condoms, etc. aren't 100% effective.

3. Abstinence of sex... Hmm.. Sex is almost needed or at least some sort of pleasure.. it is optional, but its almost needed by everyone. Just like T.V.

4. If you are against abortions, Don't have one.. But the option is always there for you to have one.. And I dont care if someone I dont know has an abortion, their life dont affect mine.. Well it might.

5. If abortion is illegalised, there will be more dumpster babies..

6. Putting a baby up for adoption: If you go 9 months with the child, then you see it when it comes out, theres an immediate bond between the two. And putting it up for adoption will cause a lot of streess on the person... A LOT.

7. If the environment the child would be living in is not financially or emotionally safe for the child.

8. It is not a child yet. it is still a fetus.. A chicken and the egg. A plant and its seed.

9. What if the girl is 12, 13, 14 yrs old? Do you want the child to go through that pain..? I dont.

For me, it boils down like this...

It is a woman's choice, as she is the one that has to live with it for the rest of her life...Whatever her conscious dishes her, she will eat...I dont' think a woman should be forced to have, or not to have a baby...

If she fuckin', which is an act reserved for adults, then she needs to be an adult and decide how she's going to handle the situation...I personally don't believe in aboortion, but if I got a woman pregnant that made the decision, I wouldn't hold it against her...

i am pro life for many reasons:

if you're going to have sex, you know that there is a chance for a child to be born. if you can't live with that, don't mess around. sex is perfect within marriage. outside of marriage it only causes problems.

it is a child as soon as the heart beats, which is 3 weeks after conception. you don't know if you are pregant that soon so it is a person you are killing.

adoption is the best option. yes you will get attached to the baby, but it's better to have that bond then to know that you are killing your son or daughter. there is more stress and emotional problems from abortion than from adoption

I think this is a huge debate, and it seems to me that if you have an abortion, then you are not ready to be a parent, for you are still being selfish, which is not always a bad thing. but i never have seen a woman who was scarred by any other experience any more than this. and i have seen a lot.

I don't like the idea, but then again I love children,.. even though i have none, and the odds are not good. I am personally pro-life/pro choice.

but SEX is not just about making babies. it is about sanity as well.

I would have to say it takes more emotional stress to abort then to adopt because.. well, I have been in both situations.. Not 1st hand, but someone close to me has had one or the other in my life.. And witnessing it, adoption was a lot harder..

Adoption is just killing your baby.. because you cant ever see him/her again.. I feel adoption is like giving birth to a dead child.. That sounds sick, but recently, my cousin has had that happened.. and that shit hurts your for a long time.. Whether you express it or not, a miscarriage is very unhealthy for your emotions.. And adoption, fills you with guilt and sadness...

Just my thoughts.

Abortion: I don't have made up my mind about that issue i have a lot of conflict
when it comes to that one.

Adoption: I'm for it!

Abortion is going to be bad either way..

I think that its better to let the kid live...but I do not really stand behind this strongly..just a personal preference

the problem is not abortion, its the mindset that people have as they do things that lead them into conflicts like abortion..

kind of like saying, whats the best way to pull a drunk guy out of a car..i way so he only loses his arm, or his leg?

if he wouldnt have been driving drunk, none of this would have happened, ya dig..

But in cases of rape, etc...abortion is cool imo

thats all from me, i dont have much to say regarding this topic, only what has already been said...

Ok, I'm for abortion for these simple reasons:

1. I'd rather have a lady give up her child rather than finding a poor baby in a trash can somewhere, either dead or alive.

2. Too many unwanted babies in this world...or worse, those who have the kids and don't give 2 shits about caring for 'em. Don't put 'em in this world if ur not gonna give a fuck about 'em!

3. Don't be forcing folks re what they can or cannot do w/ their own bodies! It's like coming into my house and all of a sudden someone starts telling me what to do and how to do it. [-X

I'm for as long as there is a good reason behind it and as long as it is still an embryo.

Everyone has their own beliefs which is why we are great...it's a woman's right to choose though...no explanation needed cause you'll never fully understand how a woman feels about the situation...she makes the choice that's right for her and we should respect it.
