Pardon the slacker behavior. As a purveyor of news and information, I’ve been meaning to make everyone aware of the presence of Boondocks Bootleg for over a week now. I guess the Hon. Brother McGruder noticed the huge online reaction received the last time he leaked screenshots and decided to organize the action a little.

After a two year hiatus, the series returns for its third season on May 2nd so let the countdown begin. In the in between time, McGruder’s launched the Bootleg site to keep fans updated, upcoming sneak peeks and to drop off a few extras. Not sure if it’s him or not, but someone dubbed “The Manager” is blogging there as well and there’s a handful of witty barbs being tossed that should bring a smile to your face.

No problem. I dug The Boondocks series while it lasted, but I'll still say to this day that season 2 cannot even compare to the awesome vitality that the first season brought to the house. Hopefully, though, season 3 includes stories and scenarios more akin to season 1 than season 2's wackiness, though for some, they are just glad it's back at all.

The same thing with Futurama fans I guess (myself being one of them). Comedy Central announced a while ago that new episodes for this series would start up again this summer as well, but I'm not so sure. I think they may just have in mind one of those 3-4 episode bundles of the show that make up an hour and a half kind-of-tv-movie deal. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Season 4

So, here we have the idea that no longer will Aaron Macgruder be involved with the upcoming Boondocks Season 4, set to start airing episodes on 4/21...This is only good news if he had minimal input on the first 3 seasons and we can expect more of the same...
