This is tough.

I believe that people can become gay. I also think that it is genetic and some people can't really choose. They are born with that in them.

I don't think that same sex couples should wed or even become "married." It goes against what marriage is.
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

I like to look at lesbians as much as anybody, but when you wanna throw marriage into the shit, I have mixed feelings...

But, I will stick with my philosophy, the simplest answer is usually the best one...Marriage is a committment that you do to honor a union, and in that respect, it is OK...But, if you want to throw God/religion/spirituality into the mix, and I think most marriages do, then it is dumb...

If God intended it to be man/man, woman/woman, I do think that it would me more obvious than what it is...I see no distinct reason why a man would love another man sexually...And a woman either, but that's much sexier than man love, LoL...

So, to each his own...If you love a man enough to go before your friends, family, and society too for that matter, than go right ahead, that's your decision...I am trying to remove myself from the judgement of others, in any capacity, as right or wrong is what..?

Yep...Hahaha, that shit's RELATIVE...

Okay, I agree Ayhja but I think they're is such a simple solution to the whole married deal. I thing that there should just be another name for it that way it's the same thing except it doesn't interfere with spirituality and our traditional views of marriage. If we give it a different name and perhaps change a few of the ways a wedding works then I think it'd also be more special for the same sex couples. It'd be their own celebration to look forward to and sooner or later heterosexual couples will be whinin that they wanna do it the homosexual way. Hey, you never know.

As for the men/men and women/women thing, I say be who you are and be proud of it. I think two men who are truly in love are absolutely cute. I think gay sex is gross but that's also how I feel about girls takin it up the poop shoot. We all have our views and opinions and I don't see why men/men and women/women couples get more hurt about it. We're all the same and yet all different.

Amen to those who do what they want and be who they are!!!

this is where i will stand up...

Gay marriage is wrong..yes you heard me, wrong!!! LoL..but here is why...God created man and a women, and you can see through his amazingly complex design that they were intended for each other...

Now do I judge gay peeps sayin they are wrong? Heyell no..I dont think gayness is genetic or a choice, but rather an subconscious influence that gets morphed into your brain when you are too young to understand that it is happening...so I do not judge gay ppl at all...but i do think gay marraige is wrong, err, at least not as acceptable in the eyes of God as a marraige of one man and one women..

Dang, this is tough. I'm really not sure if they have a choice to be gay or not. I really haven't studied the scientific studies on all of it. Can any one help me out?
