Lost Ghost and Pete,

Try to get a job when you have a birth defect like mine.

Even though I have two Basic Certificates and a Associates in Applied Science degree, the only thing they judge me on is my disability.

I had three jobs where I lost due to that.

To update everyone on it: I was born with Cerebral Palsy. The type I have left me unable to control the movements of my right hand. I also walk with a limp.

Cerebral Palsy means that part of my brain is paralyzed.

I went through regular school and graduated High School in 1978. I had three jobs which I lost. Then I attended a community college getting odd and end jobs there.

And that suxxx big time, but I'm sure you don't need a pity party...When, and if you can, you should tell us more about how you cope with the disease...Just for those of us that are especially spoiled...

I'm sorry to hear that Disabled. I agree with Big A...that sucks. WHat really sucks is that people judge you on that. YOu couldn't help it....they should accept that

I appreciate the sentiments guys, but you have to remember that I grew up in a time in which there were different standards of living.

Jobs at that time were more plentiful and the boss didn't fuck you in the ass like they do today.
