Kanye West "College Dropout"

I'm also going to get the new one by Taleb Kweli. I heard that it's really good.
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard

QUOTE(luvbugin)I'm sorry to say, but I am so burned out on Metallica...totally burned out...

That's what happened to me with their Black Album. When I first bought it in 1998 (I only just got into Metallica in 1997), I listened to it non-stop. I dubbed it onto a tape and played it on the school bus every day, thumping away on the floor with my feet and air-guitaring. I annoyed the shit out of my bus driver and fellow schoolmates so much that Metallica was banned from the bus!
I kept listening to it at home, even though I was into all their other stuff too. Ride the Lightning and ReLoad were my other faves (now Master of Puppets and St. Anger are my all-time favourite albums).

And, I got burnt out on it. :johnny: For years after, I simply didn't enjoy it as much :dots: . I'd put on one song :-& , then get excited about another album's song, put that one on and just leave my Black Album.

It wasn't until just 2 months ago when my enthusiasm and greeness had grown back for it. I had been checking out people's covers of Holier than Thou, then said "Lets hear the real thing!" :w00t: and put that album on. I felt so good about it I whipped out my guitar and jammed along to Enter Sandman (great song but greatly overplayed) and Sad But True straight through! :acdc:

Title: Hot August Night

Artist: Neil Diamond

This album was recorded at the Greek Theatre in Los Angles in 1973. Diamond goes through most of his classic tunes.

The highlight of this album is his transition between two songs towards the end of the record. He screames the intro into the second songs which is "Soolamon", and "Brother Love's Travelling Salvation Show".

I had this on 33 1/3 vinyl record and I played the grooves off of it! It is that good!
