I mentioned in another thread that I REALLY dug this movie...I am usually not a champion of sequals, but I will be seeing this movie opening night, no doubt...

But, if written properly, this is a sequal with promise...I was completely left in suspense with the end of the first one, the legend of Somora completely had me wrapped into the story...It is what made the first movie so good, you spend the whole movie counting down the days with the lead character, doing investigative research, feeling relived until all of a sudden:

"You helped her..??? You weren't supposed to help her..! She NEVER sleeps..."

Fuckin' awesome, I can't wait to see what the new one brings...

i thought the first one was "o.k."

(when that girl is dead in the closet at the beginning, i nearly shit my pants...twice)

but my girlfriend LOVED it!

then she saw "the grudge" and said it was like the greatest horror film of all time?, so you might wanna check that out!?!

So.....When I say wait for the rental...I just...Man...I had my hopes up for this one...There were some jumpy moments...But FUCK did it get spaced out towards the end...Looks like the writers just went and fucking lost it...It tried to capture some of the moments from teh first, but really, it just went haywire...
