Happy New Year!

It may not be January 1st, and certainly not Chinese new year, but it is the New Year according to the astrological Lunar calendar, which begins Saturday night, April 9th, 2005. This month is known as Nissan, or Aries, and the first 12 days are especially significant. Each of the first 12 days are connected to one of the days of the Qabalistic Zodiac (Sepher Ha Mazloth), and correspond to the appropriate month.

Rememeber, the actual calendar even is night before day. So, the first night is (tonight) and Day One (tomorrow, i.e. Sunday), corresponds to Aries, Day Two (Sunday night and Monday), corresponds to Taurus, and so on. There is a full guide to the first 12 days of Nissan below

It is traditionally advised How you behave on each day determines the quality of the entire corresponding month! This makes these days extremely powerful, as the more you *put into them*, the more you get out of the whole year. Aries is a battleground in the war to determine the outcome of ALL the battles that will arise during the next 12 months. And make no mistake, you enemy in this war, your ego, armed with your fears and uncertainties, is a powerful advesary. Remeber the cave Yoda made luke go into. Fight club, anyone?

The bottom line for Aries is to constantly be looking within to see where you need improvement. And this is not a job to be done alone. The first twelve days of the month of Nissan (or Aries)

The energy builds with each of the 12 days until we get to Passover where the most energy is revealed to free us from whatever enslaves us.
In general, try to be as non-reactive as possible, especially if you feel everyone is trying to *push* you over the edge of sensible action. For example, on the day that represents Taurus, you may feel the energy of the month of Taurus which is a desire to be comfortable. So be non-reactive in a Taurus way, which is to get out of your comfort zone.

c'mon, let it out. cause it includes astrology? yo, the first seven days of creation do, in the Bible the way it was originally written, you know that book, called the Torah? And Israel's parable of his twelve sons (for he took two of joseph's as his own, remember?

Do study Astrology before you discount it, and certainly keep in mind that EVERY religion including Christianity has astrological components.

What I meant is that I haven't studied it thoroughly. I know about it and stuff and that's why I have discounted it. I don't know as much about it as Raum but from what I know, I don't want to be a part of it

oh, don't mistake me as *believing* in Astrology...

I never said I *believe* in Astrology. I, in general do not advocate *belief* in anything. But I will say 39 of the books Lord Sir Issac Newton named were crucial to a sound education in understanding the Law of Gravity and God's own holy law by which the machinery of man and nature operate in accordance with divine providence involve Astrology and Alchemy. Furthermore, the evidence of his alchemy is known worldwide.

I certainly do not even bother with checking out half of what is *advertised* as astrology nowadays, but I WAS EDUCATED BY A HONORABLE MEMBER OF THE BRITISH ROYAL SOCIETY OF ASTROLOGY, who was also an accomplished Astrosophist, and lent me her expertise and wisdom. I am a skeptic of the established astrology, but do believe in the connection of event and perceptions. This alone make astrology useful.

None of the ideas i have in my head are conducive to thinking Ptolemy (the father of a geocentric worldview) is correct, so i discounted astrology myself, and quite early. However, I learned that despite the popularity of Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos (*the textbook on astrology). There was another school of Astrosophy, Pythagoras and his heliocentric model of the universe... the one that was so ubersecret, you had to swear oaths to learn of it.

This is what I studied, for it was mentioned by Eisnstein, Newton, Steiner, Kepler: that there was order of chaos in the universe; the very heart of any religion or spiritual view. I have observed this to be true.

I am not saying it is simple, or there is a book that tells you the whole picture, but the model of the circle, as being a completeness of self is a helpful model for self-growth, and its use is no more harmful or deluding than a food pyramid or a structured flowchart of a program or business venture.

I challenge you to say it is just *New-Age.* Especially Hebrew Astrology, which is the very foundation of their calendar, and is crucial to understanding the bible.

Trashtalker did not discount astrology, he dismissed it, and that is fine.

What I don't get is that he felt so inclined to make a comment that had no contribution to the topic, and did nothing to further a solid basis against it.

Furthermore, it is a pet peeve of mine to make people define their *power words*, example in case, Trashtalker often says *New Age* about subjects that are older than the premise of salvation, which was the first *New Age* idea. And he says this, not fully understanding the term.

This clearly means he has some kind of bone to pick with New Age things, and I find myself wondering why. However, throwing that word my way is a whole different can of beans. I am not a "new-ager", and don't kindly to being called one.
