For me, the timely utterance of "You are the dumbest muthafuka EVER," or some other insult to the intelligence works for me...Of all the thigns you can say about someone, I dont' think anybody wants to be considered a genuine dumbass...You can be ugly, you may even get away with smelling different...But being called card carrying stupid is a hard pill to swallow...

What's your favorite putdown..?

I will also tend to insult the offender with a direct comment on their apparent lack of higher brain function. Usually in the form of a very sarcastic comment or question that if they do not understand at first only illustrates my point to those who may be witnessing the exchange.

repeating a diss shot at you with your mom in front of it..

the more played it gets, the funnier it gets..simply amazing..

Sarcastic repeating of what they said followed by "dumbass" or "queer" or a word that goes along with what they said..

I use a reverted sentence made out of his/her last words, or simply (and more often yet) not saying a word.

I was watching a show that had KISS member Gene Simmons and he said the perfect putdown.

He was talking about how many women he had in the sack and he looked into the camera and said:

"Guys...I don't care how pretty you are, I will get your girlfriend!"
