My previous boss keeping me in the dark about whether I'd be sent out in the field or not. He seemed really keen to get me started, but then kept me plugging away in the boring office and not letting me know what would happen- he'd say he'd want to talk to me, then not see me for the next whole week! I was worried I was in trouble, and started dramatising and blowing things out of proportion- imagining that I might get the sack and not take it and go electrocute myself or run myself over or something- how's that for low?
