How true is it?
Can these alleged Shamans really navigate spirit worlds to cause supernatural healing? How is this done?

sorry, I did a research paper on the mysterious deaths of the Hmong people experienced after they immigrated to the US to escape prosecution from Vietnam war environment..(they lived in Laos)
Over 100 perfectly healthy Hmong died in their sleep. Many say that it was simply becuase they were depressed. This Matrix-like power of the mind to kill the body fascinated me, so hence my paper..
The Hmong main religion was Shamanism..dont have a link now but Ill get one soon..

Ahh...
You know, before the slave trade, WMFT tried to enslave the Native Americans and the same thing happened...The Indians, spirit broken, simply died..Had nothing to do with their physical conditioning, etc...So, they drove them away...The Africans involved in the slave trade, after having already been subjected to harsh treament, survived for the most part...
I wonder if there is a connection...

I think it prolly was depression but I don't know much about this at all. I'd like to read more about it
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

which shamans? hmong? um, go ask them.
As far as "other worlds and the inhabitants of them having a hand in the affairs of this world and the lives of mankind", that is the very basis of all religion.
