The Best Athlete In Any Sport
OK, I am having this discussion, and I want to know what you guys think...Who is the best athlete of any sport that you have ever seen or heard of..? I mean, just a fantastic specimen..? Transcended teh sport, because they were so good...My list, which should be no surprise, goes like this:
Jim Brown
Bo Jackson
Deion Sanders
I could probably tweak it a little more, but of course, Jim Brown stays...Let the debate begin...

Depends what you mean by athlete?
In terms of natural, God-given talent, that list is probably pretty decent..
Overall, my list would be..
1) Lance Armstrong
2) Michael Jordan
3) Erik Vendt

Why don't you guys start explaining some of these, because pretty much everyone of your choices are questionable except Bo Jackon.
I personally don't like this question because its unfair to say this guy was good at football, and this guy was good at basketball....pick who is better, how can anyone judge that?

OK, I'm going to go ahead and add Roy Jones Jr. to my list as well...
And to avoid things being overly complicated...Think on terms of an athlete that you could see playing any sport...Period...That no matter what sport they played, they'd probably be good at it...

Then I'd pick Dion Sanders.

Yeah, gotta add Primetime to that list.
also MJ, i know he wasn't too hot at baseball, but his mentality seems like it would make him succeed at anything.

True...but I didn't add him because of the baseball factor
