general perception seems to be that the PS3 will be better than the XBOX 360. It will have "The Cell" as processor. Wonder how it will work...

In theory..? The cell will work like nothing we'v ever seen before...Rendering games at a DVD like quality is something super impressive, no Desktop PC currently has anything comprable to the cell whatsoever...

I think now, more than any other time in the history of gaming, the real push will be on the manufacturers of the games to push the hardware to its potential...That is a TREMENDOUS amount of data that can be addressed now with Teh Cell...

Damn, it's hard to believe I've had a PS2 for amost 5 years...I slept in the car to get one...
God damn... didn't think it was out for THAT long. I got one within the first few months, then got a slim when my old one broke. The slim one is quite sexy.

Yeah, I want to get a slim too, but I'm just gonna wait on that PS3...This time, I'm fucking getting mine in reserve, and THIS time, in case of a shortage, I'm going to buy three, and be one of those listings teh is talking about, LoL...

Maaaaaan....Grand Theft Auto on that system is going to be SYK...Worlds will be way bigger...Much clearer and all that...The hardrive pretty much makes the damn thing limitless to what you can do with it...

I'm getting one, as soon as they start advertising, I'll start saving...

It's not only the cell. It will also be supporting blu-ray, while the other two will stick to DVD. The Cell + Blu-ray will put it one generation ahead of the XBOX 360 and nintendo.
