This is the worst news I think I could have heard. I really wish Dave Chappelle would come out and at least say why he no longer wishes to move forward with the show. If it's for spiritual reasons like has been speculated, he must be REAL serious about what he believes in, because he signed that 2 year $50 million contract he's walking away from. Not to mention it was almost everyone's favorite show. Sucks

Well, at least it takes SBS forever to import shows like Chapelle's Show, so hopefully I'll get to see quite a few more episodes before it finishes up here in Oz

Oh wtf man, I loved Chappelles Show.
Not to mention it was so immensely popular. It was definitely more frequently quoted than any other show in the last 2 years ::sighs::

the daily show is the bomb, but i don't watch it.
i don't watch tv much at all.
and chapelle show is not really gonna be missed
i want david chapelle to start doing some movies again,
and not just stoner crap,.. he could be a powerful actor.
and i think he is feeling that his show inadvertantly lent weight to stereotypes,
which is kinda why i didn't watch it... but it was funny.

I respectfully disagree. I believe that his show actually decreased the "profiling" that goes on by showing us all just how ridiculous stereotypes are.
But that is just my suburbia white male view point and I could be way off base.
