Jay Williams....orginally Jason Williams..from Duke, number 22 drafted by the Bulls 2nd overall..behind Yao Ming, is in the free agency!
He is changing his name back to Jason...He changed it to Jay before entering the Draft because there were already so many Jason Willaims in the NBA.
He worked out for the media and some team scouts..where he shot elbow jumpers and 3-pointers impressively.
The let down from his motorcycle accident, is that he'll probably never regain the quickness he once had, and that is what made him such a great prospect.
He's still only 23 years old, and I think would be a good pickup for many teams. I wish he'd come back to the Bulls, becasue I liked him as a player, and think it was horribly unforunate what happened to him. We have too many young gaurds though now, so he'd probably be a better fit elsewhere.
Jason again!

I agree...He'd do well to try and sign with another team...The Lakers..? /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" />
More than that though, I'd be concerned about how he got in his cycle accident...It could be a rumor, but I heard he was leaving The Blue Oyster...

Do you think he'll do well though? It's prolly gonna take him some time to get back in the groove of playing in the NBA. He'd prolly be a good investment for the future though
