now, on any given day of the week, for starters, just focus on the one that relates in an Alchemical planetary sense to the day:

Sunday - Sun
Monday - Moon
Tuesday - Mars
Wednesday - Mercury
Thursday - Jupiter
Friday - Venus
Saturday - Saturn

It puts them in a different order, but when you finish every order and method of mediation, you will have focused on every possible association between them... and that will give you enough understanding to access these vital points of your essential being, all of which contain the mystery of who you ARE.

stand up, let your arms hang lose, don't lock your knees, close your eyes, let your mind become aware of the part of your body in question. let your closed eyes fill with the color of light that is focused, and that is a start.

there are also root sounds to be used, visualizations, and all kinds of other means. I, for example use Greek intonations of the vowels to envision the defeat of the Archons (limitations upon the true nature of Being personified as terrible Archetypes, that while not yet perfect, have their place in human existence - and are mentioned in Revelations...)

I also use Hebrew names of God and cant them, raising my voice in praise and silling that part of my body with the Aur (Light) of the Day, but there are other means. There are alos other means, including specific letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

I will, after work, post some more formal beginning instructions.

Thanks for taking interest in this. It is essentially an intitial step in examining The body of Man as a reflection of The Universe... and looking for the Infinite Godliness therein. I would also like to add this is NOT new age, though NEW age does take liberally from many ancient cultures, including many I have studied independently and with formal instruction or in an academic fashion.

a chakra is a "wheel, turning of a wheel, rotation, change or direction, connection point"

sanskrit has no direct translation, but you get the idea. Motion, and Flow...

Technically, any where two nerves meet and synapse is a chakra (millions on them), but the Maha Banda Chakram (Major Binding Chakras) are the seven most people concern themselves with.

These are actual places of concern in the human anatomy, and there are ways to stimulate and control blood flow (thus oxygen) to those areas and strengthen them, but it takes practice for it to actually affect you.

According to the oldest books on the sacred traditions of Jewish Mysticism that inspired the compilers of the Torah, these correlate to the seven "double letters of the Hebrew alphabet",

B, G, D, K, P, R, T - as well as the seven whole notes of the music scale (adopted from the works of Pythagoras) - the seven days of the week, the seven "gates" in the head (two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, one mouth), and many other things...

which have an ancient correlation to the seven planets of traditional Hebrew Astrology, and seven sacred names of god that appear in the Hebrew Torah (5 Books of Moses).

at "low levels" of concentration or with little focus, the only REAL reason is this essentially relaxes undue stress within the body and opens the awareness to the functioning behavior of the body in question. The BEST benefit is that it opens the consciousness to higher receptions internally and externally which help make psychological projections and "negative reinforcing inhibitions" more accessible and therefore treatable. As a stress relief, it is essentially a hands-free massage. Being that these are isolated areas within the body you are meditating on, it is unlikely they can be massaged otherwise. when combined with proper breathing and diet they can be useful in regulating the endocrine and digestive systems, and exercising the functional vital organs of the circulatory and repiratory systems, but they do not build strength, even in the organs consistently being used.

Essentially, what do "diagnostics" on you car do for your car?
