in the newest version of opera they have removed the ad banner and as such have made it freeware, but you can purchase what they call 'premium support' ... get it now at www.opera.com

I just can't get into Opera like I did Firefox...

But then again, I've never used it extensively...Firefox is just awesome, so truth be told, I've never really tried to get into it as much...How does it compare to you..?

But...Why..? LoL...Firefox, especially this nifty little build I just installed, is just the pwn...And long live open source supremacy...Maybe I should give Opera another chance...

If I didn't need absolute compatibility, I would use Linux Fap, no doubt...But many of the softwares that I use for work are Windows only, and I have nary a minute to be compiling programs...Maybe one day when I retire this box, I will...

I work over windows at my job, but at home i have a small linux pc i'm using to really leave the other home windows pc.
Also Ubuntu released a LiveCD version that you boot and run lunix from a CD in any computer, very cool feature, mainly to try linux and learn before the big step.

I doubt I'll ever switch from Firefox. What makes Opera so great?
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard
