Using a Digital Camera As A Webcam

#1

Post by Deepak »

Ok I have an "Olympus camedia c-770" digital camera and I would like to use it as a webcam but orignially it does not have a feature that allows me to use it as a webcam. So I'm wondering if there is some way that I could use that digital camera as a webcam?

In theory, all you would need is some webcam software, since it recognises it as a Video USB device.
I'll have a look around and see if I can find the app that you need..

That would be sweet az man. Thanks a lot. The camera in itself has the ability to do video recording if it helps in anyway.

unfortunately USB connect does not means you can turn it to web cam
it depends on how the hardware is built to allow data video stream to the port
a friend of mine was trying to do the same with a Kodak and found that hradware limitation.
