I have been thinking about going digital, but I'm really addicted to film...Thanks for posting this Fap...

I use both. There are certain situations where one is definitely better than the other. For just snapshots and the like, I just use my digital cam now, it's easier and cheaper. If I'm trying to do portraits or "artsy" (extended exposure) shots, I'll use film. I'm getting the hang of Photoshop, so I may end up going completely digital at some point, but I know I'll need to drop about $500 or more for a better digital camera (5 Megapixel at least).

FYI: 5mega pixels are pro enough to consider replacing film, above 6 or 7 Mp is as high quality as film.

Yep. And the prices keep coming down, so I figure in the next year or two, I can make the switch.

Digital, even at 7 MP's, won't quite capture film, espcially when shot through a HQ glass lens...Or at least, that is the opinion of several professionals I have talked to...I shoot Canon, what are you guys using..?

I'm currently using a Kodak 2MP "Instamatic" type camera with a 256 MB card which is fine for quick snapshots and stuff, but I'm wanting to move up to a 5MP or higher SLR type digicam to get more film-like quality. I've been looking at the Fugi models which look pretty good. With my film, I use a Nikon SLR with a variety of lenses. It's old, but it produces good quality photos.
