The boy stands outside the door, curious, but hip to what's going on...Tattletale voice:
Ra: "Momma, I think Daddy boo boo'n my bathroom..."
Ma: "You better not go in there..."
Unfazed, the boy cracks open the bathroom door, and peaks his little face inside...
Ra: "Daddy! You boo boo'n in my bathroom..?!?"
Dad: "Nah...That's aroma..."
Boy comes all the way in, and analyzes the scene...
Ra: "That's not 'daroma' that's stink...
Dad: "Its aroma..."
A bit upset I am making a mockery of his senses, the starts to point and scold me...
Ra: "{undecipherable stern lecture}....and you stink, and you're fired..!"

LmFaO, I guess you would have just had to been there, but it was hilarious...Lil dude is 3, and think he runs the house...Too damn funny...

That's one of the reasons I got in the habit of locking the bathroom door early on. Nothing like sitting on the john taking a dump and having a 2 year old try and crawl into your lap to read a story! That's MY time... go find momma.

Funny thing i agree but i disagree in your entusiasm about kids being smart.
Here i go off-road: Nowadays people like kids who act and answer like "little adults" and they do that a lot, unfortunately is because they share too much time with grown ups instead of sharing with their equals, and also they try to imitate what's on tv. The son of my cousin has all kinds of so called smart answers that make us CDR, but i honestly think that kids should make us laugh by their inocence, they have a lot of time to learn our sarcastic and mean manners.

My kid got pissed at me the other day because I wasn't saying grace at the table...He has spent lots of time with me, but...He has his own personality, and makes lots of observations...Kids see and say what's on their minds man, gotta love that..! He knows when to say, "Daddy I want this," but for other things, he'll say, "Daddy I need this..." If I go in the store, and try to buy him something big, he'll say, "Daddy, that's too much (expensive)," and then will go and pick up something smaller...He likes to drink water, and read magazines...He knows the prayer raum taught me...It's Hebrew, and has known it for a very long time...
Maybe not smarter, but it definitely seems like it...

I love kids...as long as I can give them back. Me? No, no kids. I love borrowing the little boogers though and teaching them all sorts of fun things. I taught my nephew how to play hide n' seek a while back. He'd hide and I would walk around room to room asking if he was there. After the third room I heard a whispered "no" in the hallway closet. Little guy didn't want to be rude. Momma always taught him to respond when she spoke to him. Kids are adorable!
